KinFolk Brass Band
Featuring The N’AWLINS D’AWLINS & Big Queen Mary Kay of the Original Wild Tchoupitoulas Indians
Kinfolk Brass Band was founded by brothers Percy and Richard Anderson in 2005, in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Playing a style of music that encompasses and melds Mardi Gras Indian chants, New Orleans funk, modern jazz, and traditional brass band sounds, Kinfolk Brass Band is at the forefront of the New Orleans Brass Band renaissance.

Jazz Foundation of America All Star Jazz Ensemble
The New Orleans Jazz Museum and Jazz Foundation of America present an all-star jazz ensemble virtual performance for NOLA River Fest featuring Thais Clark on vocals, Tom Fisher on sax, Steven Burtchaell on keyboards, Richard Moten on upright bass, Karl Budo on drums, Don Vappie on guitar, and Seva Venet on banjo.
Jazz Foundation Presents Mayumi Shara & Tack Tom Revolution
Composer and drummer Mayumi Shara is a uniquely cross cultural whirlwind of talent and energy, making her well-established pioneer female jazz drummer in Japan. She also creates original methods of solo performance, playing the Japanese traditional drum in New Orleans, also in southern area. Overall, she plays an active role in exposing the Japanese culture to the American culture through her creative musical endeavors. Accompanying her is James Singleton on upright bass, Brent Rose on saxophone, Victor Atkins on piano, and Louis Ford on clarinet.

Treme Brass Band
New Orleans' premier traditional brass band. Treme Brass Band has played traditional New Orleans brass band music for decades and is loved all around the world. The musicians of Treme Brass Band are survivors. Treme Brass Band gained fans around the world via the HBO show "Treme" as well as appearances in Spike Lee's documentary "When The Levees Broke" and the popular television show NCIS New Orleans on CBS.
Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra
The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) is dedicated to maintaining live orchestral music and a full-scale symphonic orchestra as an integral part of the cultural and educational life of the New Orleans area, the entire state of Louisiana, and the Gulf South region. Formed in 1991, the LPO is the oldest full-time musician-governed and collaboratively-operated orchestra in the United States. As the only full-time professional orchestra in Louisiana, the LPO’s purpose is to provide the citizens of our state with innovative, high-quality classical music performance experiences and education programming.

Rebel Babel Ensemble
Rebel Babel Ensemble conducted by award-winning conductor and producer L.U.C. is an international orchestra of big bands that plays for peace and dialog meeting cultures and musical genres all over the world. Within 5 years over 11,000 musicians from 15 countries have played with this unique band that fulfills the dreams of young musicians by connecting them with their idols. Traveling orchestra plays always with local musicians showing the beauty of different regions, sounds and styles of brass and wind.
In this transcontinental concert, various brass orchestras from Polish and American cities perform jazz interpretations of Polish film composers from Hollywood, who work on the border of jazz and film music. We will hear, among others K. Komeda's composition from Polański's film Rosemary's Baby performed by HOT 8 Brass Band. Jazz Mafia from California will interpret Bronisław Kaper's cult Invitation and Green Dolplhin Street, once performed by J. Coltrane and Miles Davis. Cracow's Busker Band will play composition's of Henryk Wars. The concert will also feature musicians from Rebel Babel, incl. with unique violin-trumpets and Gdańsk tower trumpeters Tubicinatores Gedanenses. Concert co-produced in cooperation with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, NOLA Jazz Museum and the City of Gdańsk, Wroclaw and Cracow.

Grayhawk Perkins
New Orleans-born Grayhawk Perkins, who is of Native American Choctaw and Houma Nation descent, is a well-known cultural figure in Louisiana. In his career, he has worked professionally as an educator, historian, and a musician. As a musician, he has been involved with the New Orleans music industry for decades, having shared the stage with many notable acts such as Dr. John and Coco Robicheaux. He performs regularly at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and the Voodoo Experience Music Festival, and has worked as a Jazz Fest Coordinator for over 25 years.

Bon Bon Vivant
Bon Bon Vivant is an indie/gypsy band from New Orleans that electrifies audiences across the country with their signature blend of gypsy-jazz/ Americana, dark ballads and up-tempo indie dance rock. BBVs original music pays homage to the bawdy New Orleans sound while infusing an indie flavor that leaves a lasting mark on listeners. This genre bending band's original songs are joyous, fierce, honest and heartbreaking as they chronicle life and all it entails through the sounds of the minor keys. Bon Vivant : a person who enjoys a sociable and luxurious lifestyle appreciating food, drink, and music. A live performance of Bon Bon Vivant embodies this spirit of revelry and celebration. BBV honors this philosophy and the city where they live, New Orleans. The band experiments with high energy dance music and dark, sensual melodies with lyrics like "start living now while you've got living left.” This music embodies the duality of enjoying the light because the darkness is always near!
